Entering a New Era
2026 starts a year of renewal and revitalization for not just my business, but for my art and myself. The last couple of years have had many highs and lows, but the one thing that was consistent was an inability to keep up with demand for new works. It’s a good problem to have, but an overwhelming one too. This year, it is taking things one month at a time and in smaller chunks.
What does this look like to the outward observer? Simple. My Social postings will include my face, especially when posting my art. I will no longer be posting gallery style on social media. That’s what my website portfolio is for. Secondly, art lessons. I get asked advice about art, creating art, selling art, etc. My plan is to show both the good and bad side of being an artist, so being more authentic. Thirdly, getting my store actively running and keeping my site up-to-date. Recently, a commissions intake form has been added to the Commissions page. In addtion, a Contact form has been added as well. Finally, finally getting some of my original concepts and creations out into the world. This includes original concept art, original illustrated stories (Lil’ Bot and Bearz4Hire) as well as posting lessons online.
So 2026 is a year of renewal and creating a new era in my art career. I hope you will join me in this journey as I document it on Social Media, YouTube and here.
