Abstract Paintings

While being trained in various mediums of the visual arts, I find oil painting to be the most fulfilling.  Spanning from Impressionism to Abstract Expressionism, my oil paintings are an extension of my personality, mood, and direction at a given time.  Most of my works are created using an Impasto method whether with it be by a brush or palette knife.  The contrast between soft brush work and harsh palette knife application create a dynamic yet visceral composition full of calm and chaos; excitement followed by a breath.
